Valid California driver license 2. Valid California licensed vocational nurse license 3. First Aid and CPR Certificate Work Schedule will be from 8:15 am - 3:15 am (Subject to change by District). DEFINITION Under the general oversight of the Executive Director of Student Services or Designee, and the daily supervision of a credentialed school nurse consistent with licensing requirements, performs specialized health services consistent with licensing requirements of a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) for students in general education and students with special needs; administers medication and provides other specialized physical health care procedures in accordance with healthcare provider written authorizations; communicates with school sites, and district personnel on health related matters; communicates with parents under the direction of the school nurse; assists with medical screening of students; disseminates health information; provides emergency medical care; assists with contact tracing and health testing programs for students and staff. Perform related work as necessary or required. The employee in this position may be assigned to multiple school sites.
