Located in the cities of Bell, Maywood, Cudahy and Los Angeles, the Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher for the Tri-Cities Early Head Start Program. Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Education, the ECE teacher provides supervision and instruction of infants, toddlers and their caregivers within the Early Head Start Program, and assists in other program activities assigned. 

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor degree or higher, in Early Childhood Education or related field, which must include six (6) semester units of Early Childhood Administration and two (2) semester units of Adult Supervision. • Site Supervisor Permit or higher. • Must have a minimum of (3) semester units of infant toddler development; must complete (3) additional units within one year of employment (6 units total). • Must possess a valid California Driver’s license and carry current car insurance. • Must possess current CPR and First Aid cards and verification of completion for the Health and Safety course prior to employment. • Must submit verification of a current physical exam to Human Resources prior to employment. • May require Bilingual/Bi-literate skills for certain programs. PREFERENCES • Early Childhood Education Experience • Bilingual/ Biliterate (Spanish)
