Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Director II or Senior Director plan, organize and direct the activities and operations of the Payroll and Retirement Compliance (PARC) Department. The Director I will ensure that the districts' payroll records are kept in an accurate and timely manner; participate in the processing, auditing, approval, and maintenance of payroll reports and related payroll and financial documents. Coordinate, train and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications

SCOE Ed-Join Application Bachelor's Degree in related field or four years of increasingly responsible payroll experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered.

Required Documents: Copies of transcripts ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance. Must be at least 18 years of age.
