The Health Technician under the direction of the Principal/Office Manager is responsible for creating policies and procedures for providing appropriate care and/or referral for ill, medically fragile, and/or injured students. This position is responsible for the preparation, updating, and maintenance of related documents and records. Additional duties also include assisting the receptionist with front office duties such as answering the phone, tending to student and parent questions and needs, creation of the weekly school email, and supporting the office staff with projects as needed. This position interacts regularly with students and families to provide the highest level of customer service, and creates a warm and friendly environment for all who come in and out of the school office. This position will support and uphold the mission and vision of The Classical Academies. The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, Certified California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999.
