Visions In Education is growing, and we’re excited to expand our Human Resources team! We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to join us and support the Director of Human Resources in serving our employees and programs. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the core human resources functions of staffing and other assigned areas, providing direction and support of daily operations, supervising staff, and coordinating other programs and services in support of the human resources functions. This position will perform supervisory responsibilities include planning, organizing, assigning, and evaluating the work of direct reports; developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with leadership and departments; implementing changes to human resources procedures; serving as the responsible administrator in the absence of the Director of Human Resources; and performing related work as assigned to maintain efficient operations in the Human Resources department. QCC/QSS, Google Workspace (Suite), FMLA/CFRA, and HRIS/Data Management experience is a plus. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days at our office in Gold River, CA and 2 days remotely. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change. - A four (4) year college degree from an accredited university is required (preferably with a major in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, Industrial Relations or related field). - Minimum of four (4) years of professional HR administrative experience, preferably in a school setting or public sector employment. - Previous management experience is highly desirable. - Previous public and/or charter school experience is highly desirable. - Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are preferable.
