Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Business, the Department Secretary IV serves as confidential secretary to a cabinet-level administrator at the level of an Assistant Superintendent; performs a variety of clerical and technical tasks and serves as liaison with other District staff and the public; coordinates the overall daily operations of the assigned office; designs and implements office records and filing manual and automated systems and database; performs complex and responsible secretarial and clerical functions; relieves an administrator of clerical and administrative detail by coordinating, organizing, leading and participating in the various operational aspects of the administrator's assignment; and to do other related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school including or supplemented by training in business office management, secretarial science or related field and five years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience.
