Job Summary
Job Summary
Provide specialized academic instruction to students within a class setting and/or on assigned caseload throughout the district. Responsibilities include student assessment; IEP development, implementation, and monitoring; implementation of behavior management systems; modification of core curricula; collaboration with general education staff and IEP teams; managing assigned paraprofessional staff; and communication with families.
Requirements / Qualifications
California credential required authorizing service in a Special Education setting with Mild-Moderate Credential. Master’s degree in special education preferred. May consider valid CA or out-of-state Special Education credential. A valid California driver’s license and private transportation with proof of insurance is required.
