Dispatcher course certification 4. Two (2) Professional Letters of Recommendation from current/former supervisors/coworkers (both MUST have physical/wet signature and be DATED within one year) - digital signatures only accepted with attached digital certificate/final audit report. 5. DMV Printout: MUST be within last 30 days (no older) - please see link under "Links Related to this Job" for CA DMV Printout website - must possess a valid CA Drivers License 6. Typing Test: adjusted/net speed 55wpm minimum on a 3-5 minute test (results must show name, WPM results and length of test) - online tests accepted 7. Valid CPR/First Aid certification required (no online courses) - please note that BLS (Basic Life Support - CPR/AED) does not include First Aid training & is not valid for this position* *can upload proof of registration in an upcoming, in-person First Aid class in lieu of card
Required upon hire: (please do not include with application) 1. Candidates selected for appointment are required to be fingerprinted in our office at the employee's expense and must receive clearance from the DMV, DOJ, and FBI before beginning work 2. Certificate stating freedom from tuberculosis upon hire. 3. Department of Justice certified CLETS course. Completion within 6 months of employment. Employees selected to move forward must have an evaluation in good standing and not be currently under any disciplinary action. All required documentation MUST be submitted and attached to the application in order to be considered and to move forward in the hiring process. ***Failure to complete the application in its entirety and/or attach ALL documentation required will result in automatic disqualification.*** Employees must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential duties of the position without hazard to themselves or others.
