SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Principal/Special Education department, assist assigned personnel in the supervision of students with special needs as assigned; perform specialized physical health care procedures for students with special needs in compliance with medical orders and under the training and direction of the Registered Nurse; assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment; performs routine clerical and classroom support duties as assigned. **PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK ABOVE TO READ THE COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION**
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children in an educational or organized learning environment. Experience working with individuals with special needs or medically fragile is desirable.
District’s NCLB exam (English & Math) preferred
*Exam date invitations available upon job offer
CPR and First Aid certification are required within 30 days of hire.
Upon offer of employment you will be required to pay for fingerprint processing and a TB clearance.
