Visions is seeking a Student Technology Support Specialist (Bilingual Spanish/English, required) to perform a wide variety of operational and administrative duties, and applicable technical work by applying existing policies, procedures and guidelines; applying fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to assigned duties. Incumbents apply a broad range of knowledge and expertise of department practices; procedures and guidelines; may assign work to, establish daily priorities, train, and/or review the work of other Student Technology Services (STS) part-time staff; and assist with the resolution of more difficult or complex problems/issues. This position will work at our office in Gold River, CA, Monday-Friday, with an 8 hour shift between 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Visions In Education offers a very generous, competitive benefits package that includes options for 100% employer-paid Medical/Dental/Vision (single), retirement (CalPERS), vacation (10 days), sick time and holiday (22 which includes 2 weeks of paid time off over the holiday season). Classified employees are eligible for educational reimbursement up to $15,000. Requirements / Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience with any combination of education, training and experience supporting computer operations and/or maintenance of desktop peripherals, word-processing, spreadsheet, technology support, and telecommunications that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described in job description. - Charter School/School experience a plus - Technology certification and/or applicable coursework desired - REQUIRED: Spanish bilingual required and able to translate and interpret in an educational setting (language assessment will be required prior to hire) Please include a cover letter, resume, and two letters of reference (if available).
