Range 36 Step 1 begins at $27.54 per hour however, with Superintendent or designee approval and written verification of work experience beyond the job description requirements, beginning salary placement could be as high as Step 3, $30.36 per hour.

Education and Experience requirement
Any combination equivalent to: Completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by completion of District Behavior Training or equivalent background and experience; and two years of experience working with students with behavioral challenges and social/emotional concerns. Capistrano Autism Training (CAT) and Hughes Training (or equivalent) preferred.
Additional Requirement
Pass a District proficiency test in English usage, language arts and mathematics, or pass California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), or have completed two years (60 semester units) of college.
