Job Summary
- Tutor students on a one-to-one or small group basis to remedy deficiencies in subject areas disclosed by scores on achievement and/or diagnostic tests. - Promotes the well-being of students by helping them develop a positive attitude/self-image and an ability to cooperatively interact with other students and adults. - Communicates with teachers and parents regarding students’ progress and needs. - Develops tutoring schedules consistent with the daily school schedules and special activities. - Maintains a log and daily records of activities and students’ progress. - Attends and participates in periodic in-service training sessions. - Supports teacher in the classroom (physical and virtual). - Assists with student safety emergency situations as necessary. - Performs related duties as assigned by the site administrator.

- Math proficiency will be measured by an assessment - Must have a degree or working towards a degree in Mathematics, English, Science, Education, or other related fields - OR enrolled in or be a graduate of a technical college or university
