Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or designee, provide support and oversight to the Nurse Assistant-Certified programs. The Designated Registered Nurse Program Director will provide leadership, support and mentorship to the Nurse Assistant-Certified Programs ensuring all CDPH requirements are being met. The Designated Registered Nurse Program Director assists in ensuring students’ attainment of education goals and objectives, as well as ensuring program compliance with all regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies are met. The Program Director assists the designated administrator to provide instructional leadership to staff including, but not limited to, program renewals, review, implementation, and professional development. Other responsibilities include maintaining student instructional records; student recruitment; advisement; retention goals; participating in school activities and committees; training and evaluating student performance. This assignment is part time, hourly and can be combined with a teacher assignment. Approximately 6-10 hrs. per month.

Requirements / Qualifications

Maintain Registered Nurse Licensing in CA. Maintain CPR BLS certification and trainer status. Requires a valid California driver’s license.
