
Dual Immersion Elementary Spanish Language Teacher 2025-26 (TK) at Garden Grove Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
Bilingual Authorization in Spanish AND at least one of the following:
- Valid Multiple Subject Credential & PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Credential (or eligible to apply for PK-3 credential) or
- Valid Multiple Subject Credential & at least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development , or both, or
- Valid Multiple Subject Credential & professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education
- Comparability determined by the local employing agency; must attach letter from school district to application confirming professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children and stating the number of years in the position, or
- Valid Multiple Subject Credential & Child Development Teacher Permit issued by CTC or
- Valid Multiple Subject Credential & Teacher was assigned to teach TK students prior to July 1, 2015
- Must attach letter from school district to application confirming the teacher was assigned to teach TK students before July 1, 2015 and state the number of years assigned to the position
Applicants should be fluent in Spanish reading, writing, and speaking. Must be an excellent language model in both Spanish and English. Have an understanding of culture and history of Spanish-speaking people and countries. Will involve parents and community members in student learning.

The majority of the interview will be held in Spanish. All applicants will be required to engage in a writing activity in Spanish.
