Job Summary
Under the supervision and direction of the assigned Administrator, the Wellness Coach I will operate as a member of a school’s care team to support school sites and students ages birth to 25 with youth behavioral and mental health needs. The Wellness Coach I will promote wellness education at sites, promote mental health literacy, support sites with universal behavioral screenings, support individual or groups of students with social and emotional skills, and assist with care coordination and linkages to crisis supports when necessary.

Salary Schedule 5, Range 22, $27.32 - $40.34 per hour. Placement is dependent on experience.
Length of Work Year
7 hours per day/Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm/11 months/222 days annually (Prorated upon hire)

This position qualifies for CalPERS retirement. The employee contribution rate for CalPERS is either 7% or 8% of monthly earnings depending on the membership date.
