Job Summary
JSerra Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to join our faculty. The ideal candidate is passionate about the integral formation of students – faith, intellect, and character – and demonstrates enthusiasm for working with high school students in a Christ-centered learning environment. Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet departmental standards and learning objectives • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and behavior of students • Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate student records through the school’s online grading system • Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators • Participate in department meetings, faculty professional development, and spiritual formation opportunities • Supervise students as needed outside of classroom settings • Support the mission and culture of JSerra by modeling Catholic values and professionalism
Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in developing curriculum and assessing student progress at the secondary level • Strong classroom management and organizational skills • Familiarity with technology integration and digital learning tools Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate subject required • Single Subject Teaching Credential or Master’s degree preferred • Prior high school teaching experience strongly desired
