Accounting Technician III at Madera County Superintendent of Schools
Requirements / Qualifications
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform a variety of complex accounting and fiscal recordkeeping duties in support of assigned programs; receive, analyze, audit, and assure the accuracy of various incoming financial data and documents including information from various software programs; prepare and maintain a variety of financial and statistical records, reports, and invoices related to assigned activities; process, interpret, record, and disseminate fiscal data. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field and three years accounting or fiscal record-keeping experience including one year in a school district or county office of education. Valid California Class C driver’s license. The successful candidate must be cleared by the Department of Justice prior to employment as required by law.
