Oak Grove School District has a total student enrollment of approximately 8,690 from grades TK-8. There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools. Six out of seventeen schools receive Title I funds. Schools range from the highest student enrollment (730) to the lowest student enrollment (269). The percentage of English Learners is 29% representing 56 languages spoken in the district. Oak Grove School District’s focus is driven by the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) and school site-specific SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement) which identifies short, intermediate, and long-term goals. 1)Baldwin Elementary - 4.25 Hours (Mon/Wed/Fri (9:00AM - 1:15PM) 3 days a week, 2) Bernal Intermediate - 6 Hours **ADDITIONAL $150 MONTHLY STIPEND FOR TOILETING** (M- F Time: 8:00 AM - 2:30PM) Provides physical assistance, including lifting and transferring students with mobility needs

To assist a certificated teacher in the instruction and supervision of individual or groups of special education students by performing a variety of instructional support and child care activities. This job class provides a variety of responsible instructional support and follow through activities for the educational/training objectives of certificated personnel in a wide variety of special services areas.

Requirements / Qualifications

4 year High School diploma plus an AA or higher, or 46 college units, or have passed the No Child Left Behind exam. Please make sure to include copies of any degree's that are listed in your application and/or transcripts for the 46 college units. If you have not taken the No Child Left Behind Test, this test does need to be taken prior to being eligible for hire.
