Job Summary

The job of School Office Assistant is for the purpose of providing clerical support to assigned personnel; communicating information to staff and the public; providing office processes support; providing complete and accurate records, including attendance records; and providing information and/or direction as may be requested. This job reports to the Site Administrator or District/Department Supervisor.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school or equivalency. Six months of clerical experience. (For more information, please view the Job Description) EXAMINATION PROCEDURES This is an open recruitment. The examination may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test or performance test and a structured oral interview. Applicants who may need reasonable accommodation for interviewing or testing must notify the Personnel Department at (562) 690-2321, three business days prior to the testing date. Date of Examination Candidates who are among the most qualified shall be notified via email or telephone of the time, date and place of the examination(s).
