Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provides specialized academic instruction services to students with social/emotional/behavioral needs. Prepares and implements individual education programs in a therapeutic day class setting, maintains records, attendance accounting, prepares progress reports, works with parents, support staff, and other service providers.

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements: Credential authorizing work with students with emotional disabilities (e.g. Education Specialist- Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, SH and Learning Handicapped).

Condition of Employment: Employees are required to submit to a Department of Justice background check and provide proof of freedom from tuberculosis and vaccination of Measles and COVID-19.
