Job Summary
Reporting to the School Director, the care team - Transportation driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students over scheduled routes for school-related purposes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transport.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must receive clearance from a comprehensive background check, including DOJ and FBI fingerprinting Pre-employment testing (before you can begin driving) Random testing (throughout employment) Post-accident testing (if certain conditions are met) Reasonable suspicion testing (if supervisors suspect use) Return-to-duty and follow-up testing (after a violation)
?Minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience. Prior experience transporting children is preferred ? Valid California Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement ? A clean driving record as verified by a DMV printout. ? valid California Special School Bus Driver Certificate issued by the CHP ? Possession of, or ability to obtain, current Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification.
