About the Employer
The Charter School Association of Willits is the governing body of Willits Elementary Charter School (Grades K-5) and Willits Charter School (Grades 6-12). Both schools are free, public, independent charter schools open to all who wish to attend. We do not charge tuition, teach religious doctrine, or discriminate in admissions policies or employment practices. The small town of Willits, gateway to the redwood forest, is about three hours north of San Francisco in the heart of beautiful Mendocino County. Willits Charter School is seeking a dedicated Education Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and experience in designing and implementing individualized learning plans to meet diverse needs of middle school and high school students. Willits Charter School operates a full-inclusion model of instruction. As our Education Specialist, you will play a key role in our overall program!
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid CA Teaching Credential with authorization in Mild/Moderate Support Needs and English Learner Authorization, Possession of valid CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) If hired: Fingerprinting, TB test Prospective intern teachers are welcome to apply.
