Job Summary
The job of Transportation Supervisor was established for the purpose/s of coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the district’s transportation department, including routing, driver evaluation, and safety training. The position ensures safe, efficient, and compliant transportation services, including providing state-approved behind-the wheel and classroom instruction for all bus drivers. The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for providing classroom and behind the wheel training of applicants and bus drivers; addressing school bus regulations and procedures; identifying training requirements; and maintaining documentation for audit in compliance with state certification and district/state/federal requirements.
