THE POSITION Provide academic counseling and guidance to assist students and parents in understanding the credits/courses needed to meet the graduation requirements. Identifies and assists in solving emotional and educational problems, adjusting to school & community life, and completing the college application process.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION: A Master’s degree in social work or counseling from an institution of higher learning accredited by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE (All applicants must attach credential with document number to their application): • Must possess and maintain a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) in school counseling
