Position Details: One regular, full-time, overtime-exempt position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The person selected for this position will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation. Remote work is available up to 2 days per week during the probationary period, with supervisor approval. After successful completion of probation, and with continued supervisor approval, remote work may increase to up to 4 days per week. Basic Function: Under general supervision, perform difficult to complex business and systems analyses of current business practices, processes and work flows in assigned business areas and recommend modifications or new processes to facilitate integration with designated enterprise system module processes; perform technical duties to support administration and production of assigned systems and databases; develop testing and implementation plans for new systems, system enhancements and upgrades; review projects following implementation to ensure compliance with specifications; collaborate with deans, administrators and staff on system and operational improvements and third-party system integrations and facilitate business improvements for a department; and perform related duties as assigned. As assigned to instructional services, the position will provide support for compliance activities related to state reporting and accreditation.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems, or a related field, and two years of progressively responsible professional experience in advising clients on technology solutions, conducting business process analyses, and performing basic project oversight responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in an academic setting is preferred. NOTE: For work experience, one “year” is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months, or at least 2,080 hours.
