Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: * Minimum of High School diploma or G.E.D. with 1-2 years equivalent training and experience to sufficiently demonstrate the knowledge and perform the abilities listed above; * Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures to adequately complete necessary paperwork; * Experience in food service or customer service. Must possess: * Food Handler’s certificate.

The Nutrition Assistant II will prepare, cook or bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, meats, vegetables, sauces and other foods in quantity; assist in the overall operation and maintenance of the kitchen and cafeteria; may operate a Snack Bar, “Combo-Line”, or satellite kitchen; and to do related work as may be required. May travel from school site to school site. Review the job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities.

* Competency test will be administered as part of the hiring process.
