Substitute Personal Care Assistant Special Education -Number of Positions To Be Determined at Garvey School District
Requirements / Qualifications
Must successfully pass the Garvey School District Proficiency Test Experience in an educational setting with children as an assistant, school babysitter, or volunteer work with children. Knowledge of general behavior characteristics of mild to moderately disabled children. Knowledge of basic first aid, CPR, and emergency treatment procedures. Knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures for lifting and moving children who are unable to move. May be required to obtain and maintain in current status certificates necessary to provide routine physical/medical care to disabled students
