Job Summary
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, perform skilled plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance work in school facilities; perform skilled welding work.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applications will be screened and those whose backgrounds best match the requirements of the position will be invited to participate in a competitive examination process which may include any combination of the following: Multiple-choice exam and/or Oral Exam. Examination procedures are subject to change as deemed necessary by the Director- Personnel Commission. This position is 40 hours per week, 12 months per year position and is benefits eligible. This recruitment will establish an eligibility list valid for 6 months.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: completion of an apprenticeship or other formal training program and two years of journey-level plumbing experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class C driver's license.
