Position Overview San Joaquin Memorial, a Catholic high school within the Diocese of Fresno, is seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, following established lesson plans, and supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Deliver instructional plans left by the regular classroom teacher. • Maintain classroom management and ensure a respectful, productive learning environment. • Supervise students in the classroom and in other school settings as assigned (e.g., hallways, cafeteria, assemblies). • Uphold school policies, procedures, and expectations for student conduct. • Report attendance, incidents, and student concerns to the school administration. • Protect the confidentiality of student and school information. • Support and model the Catholic mission and values of the school.
