Penn, Columbia, Berkeley, UCLA, Cornell, Caltech, Johns Hopkins, and Princeton. We are looking for a part-time HS AP Physics tutor to teach during our spring program. We seek a positive, confident, and energetic tutor to join our team and make a lasting contribution to our program. Expected qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience include: Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a related field 2 Years of Teaching/Tutoring Experience Ability to teach Physics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills Applicants should be comfortable interacting with those of various backgrounds and professional levels, from parents to school administrators. Applicants should be flexible and resourceful. Ability to communicate well with students and families Duties and Responsibilities Create teaching strategies that will keep students engaged and encourage class participation. Present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of Physics concepts. Assess student performance and behavior to determine if they are learning at an acceptable level and pace. Create a study plan and report based on students’ progress. Communicate any concerns or issues regarding students to administrators. Location 4947 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92604 Work Schedule January 21, 2026 to April 29, 2026 Wednesdays, 5:30 to 7:30 pm Pay $30 to $50 per hour based on experience Staff Needed One qualified candidate
