Job Summary

Poway High School is seeking qualified applicants to fill a Head Baseball Coach opening. The position may include a teaching position in Poway Unified School District depending on credentials held and the availability of staffing needs. Salary placement is based on years of experience.

Requirements / Qualifications

All applicants are required to submit an application through EDJOIN. 1. Letter of Interest 2. Resume 3. Coaching Staff Plan of expectations and responsibilities 4. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation, signed/dated within the past 12 months. 5. Copy of teaching credential and copy of transcript (official transcripts are required upon hiring) - if applicable.

Required Qualifications: • The possession of, or the ability to obtain, a California teaching credential if hired in a certificated position. • 3 years minimum experience in coaching baseball at the secondary and or collegiate level. • The ability to meet all PUSD standards for hire including, but not limited to, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, tuberculosis clearing, and valid CIF coaching certificates including CPR/First Aid, Concussion in sports, Fundamentals in Coaching, Heat Illness, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
