Specialized tradesperson performing various maintenance, repair, and logistics support over operation and maintenance of district swimming complexes, other pools, and associated spectator/grounds areas.
Requirements / Qualifications
Completion of the EDJOIN online application is required. The 'Record of Work Experience' section must be fully completed; otherwise, your application will be considered incomplete. Training and Experience 1. Possess and maintain Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) license; may be obtained within six (6) months of employment. 2. CPR/First Aid Certifications. 3. Equivalent of completion of the twelfth (12th) grade. 4. Three (3) years of experience in general construction and maintenance work, including extensive knowledge of pool maintenance, and a general working knowledge of other maintenance trades utilized by the district; or any combination of training and experience that could provide the desired knowledge and abilities may be considered. 5. Good work history and attendance. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 1.Must use safety equipment designated for this position. 2.Possession and maintenance of a valid California Driver’s License, a good driving record, and is insurable under the district’s policy. 3.Good physical condition, with stamina sufficient to maintain a rigorous work schedule requiring continuous physical exertion and frequent heavy lifting.
