Job Summary

ProYouth is seeking a dedicated and responsible Program Leader – Referee to help foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for youth sports. This role ensures games are played fairly, safely, and in alignment with league rules, while promoting sportsmanship and positive behavior among students.

Requirements / Qualifications

Key Responsibilities Maintain a physically and emotionally safe space for student engagement and learning Set clear expectations for behavior and apply positive discipline strategies Ensure all players follow game and league rules Monitor the playing field for safety and resolve conflicts as needed Make accurate rulings during gameplay, including scoring decisions Promote ProYouth’s mission and values through professional conduct and appearance Communicate respectfully and effectively with students, staff, and families Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of training and experience ? Skills & Qualifications Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure Calm and composed in high-stress situations Detail-oriented with strong judgment and professionalism Knowledge of sport-specific rules and regulations Commitment to serving youth and fostering community engagement

General Requirements Must be at least 16 years old Must be currently enrolled in high school and possess a valid work permit Must pass DOJ/FBI background check, TB clearance, and pre-employment drug screening
