Requirements / Qualifications

Under general supervision, to report to Director of Maintenance, Operations & Transportation / Site Administrator. The Lead Facilities for the Kenneth M. Bell Gymnasium is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and event coordination of the gymnasium and surrounding athletic facilities and other District sites as assigned. This individual ensures the facility is clean, safe, functional, and prepared for all athletic events, tournaments, competitions, and community rentals. The Lead serves as the primary contact for the event planning and scheduling, custodial operations, and grounds oversight.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Minimum 2 years’ experience in facility operations, event manager, or plant services. Knowledge of athletic facility operations, safety regulations, and best custodial practices. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work Evenings and weekends as needed for scheduled events. Possession of a valid and appropriate California's Driver’s License. Trade certification or related training preferred.
