Under the supervision of the Department of Special Education, Student Services, or Site Administrator, and under the professional direction of a California credentialed District nurse, a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) performs a variety of specialized health care procedures for students and provide direct clinical care to meet the health needs of students.

***See attached job description for further details*** REPORTS TO: Department of Special Education, Student Services, or Site Administrator WORK SITE: Roving between Summerwind Trails School and Beaumont High School; based at Beaumont USD - Educational Support Facility (ESF) WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 am to 2:30 pm (6.0 hours per day + 30 minute lunch break) WORK YEAR: A = 182 Work Days + 13 Holidays (10 Months) SALARY SCHEDULE: 260 RANGE: 26 = $32.51 to $44.49** per hour **Experience Credit: Effective July 1, 2025, a maximum of three (3) years may be granted for professional work experience based on the requirements of the job description, for a maximum starting placement on Step 4 at $36.57. Experience credit shall be considered as in-house professional experience and/or outside work history. JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: -Education: Completion of all coursework in good standing from an accredited college or university required for that institution’s Licensed Vocational Nursing program. -Experience: One to two years of nursing-related experience working with children or adults with disabilities and/or severe medical needs. -Licenses, Certifications, and Testing: --Possession of valid State of California License of Vocational Nursing in good standing; --A current and valid First Aid Certificate; --A current and valid CPR Certificate; --Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test; --A current and valid Tuberculosis (TB) clearance; --Fingerprint clearance for school personnel; --Must possess a valid California driver license during the course of employment and be insurable by the District’s liability insurance carrier.
