Hours: Monday-Friday Exempt Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Chair of Department & Dean of Education Location/Department: Whittier College (Main Campus)/Education POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions of the job: CTC Credential/ Permit Support & Management 1. Assists the Credential Analyst with all processing/maintenance of records pertaining to teacher credential/permits as needed. 2. Work closely with the Director of Clinical Practice in all duties under the Director’s purview, which can include (but is not limited to): 1. Providing support with MOUs with the school districts 2. Processing and organizing materials for Master Teachers 3. Processing payments 4. Organizing and supporting documentation efficiently. 3. Monitor Certificates of Clearance and TB statuses of all students in graduate and undergraduate programs. 4. Create and manage all recordkeeping, processing, etc. for the induction program. Accreditation/Assessment Management & Coordination 1. Assist with accreditation documentation under the guidance of Dean, Chair, faculty/staff of the department. 2. Schedule and coordinate accreditation/ assessment site visits as needed. 3. Maintain Whittier College’s accreditation / WASC assessment website and associated files in a timely manner. 4. Ensure all accreditation & WASC assessment data is housed according to best practices and adheres to FERPA and timelines. Communications & Marketing 1. Maintain connection and support to college communications department to optimize social media, email, print, and digital channels to engage prospective students and the broader community. a. Maintain communication calendars, manage audience lists, and contribute to message sequencing and content optimization for the department’s programs. b. Actively manage webpage content for all programs.

Advanced writing, organizational skills for accreditation and induction responsibilities 4. Advanced skills in Excel 5. Basic statistical skills in data cleaning, organization, and computation 6. Advanced social media skills regarding presentation and communication of content across web pages, messaging across multiple platforms, print and digital channels. Additional Preferred Qualifications 7. Teaching experience and/or educational administration experience in higher education context.
