Requirements / Qualifications

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for a Health Clerk. Under general supervision of the site administrator to perform a wide variety of clerical duties requiring the application of specialized knowledge or skills and involving frequent and responsible contact with the public and district personnel; and to do related work as may be required. Baldwin Park Unified School District offers an exceptional benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and membership in the CalPERS retirement system).

THIS RECRUITMENT MAY BE USED TO FILL FUTURE VACANCIES Selection Process: The selection process tentatively consists of the District application screening process, Clerical Proficiency Exam and Interviews. The proficiency exam will be given to qualified applicants only. Minimum Requirements: (a) One (1) year of clerical experience or working with students (b) Must have successfully passed the District Clerical Proficiency Exam (c) Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates (d) Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school (e) Possession of a valid California Drivers License and Insurance, Must have a vehicle to travel to school sites as part of this assignment Preferences: • Bilingual (Spanish) The following must be submitted with your on-line application for interview consideration:

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Professional Letters; within 2 years, must be dated and signed (No Exceptions))
  • Proof of HS Graduation (Diploma or Transcripts)
