Job Summary
Under the direction of the designated administrator in the Early Education Program, the Early Education Specialist, Wellness will support multiple school(s) and parents including, pregnant mothers, infants, toddlers, and preschool age students with the implementation of systemic mental health services. Responsibilities include: offering prevention and intervention mental health services to students; providing consultation and workshops for school staff and parents; to collaborate and confer with the school counselor, school psychologist, and other school site staff to provide mental health or counseling intervention and prevention services to students and families to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment for all students. This position is also responsible for providing crisis mental health services and coordinating services with community agencies and multiple sites.
