
INTERVENTION TEACHER ( ELEMENTARY: TK - 6TH) GRANT FUNDED POSITIONS - INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY at Lynwood Unified School District

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the direction of the site principal and Director of Elementary Education, the primary role of the Intervention Teacher is to develop, implement, monitor, and support intervention programs. They also ensure the academic achievement of struggling learners through push-in/pull-out instructional models. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Permanent status in LUSD • Meet district standard performance ratings on Stull evaluation and, in the preceding four years, have no unsatisfactory or needs improvement rating • Three years or more of teaching experience in elementary education • Clear Multiple Subjects Credential • Appropriate certification to teach English language learners (CLAD, BCLAD, SB1969 certificate, BCC or LDS certificate) or willingness to make a commitment to gain certification within one year of assignment REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: .
