Job Summary

POSITION CONTROL ANALYST: The job of Position Control Specialist performs a variety of complex technical and specialized functions to support budgeting and position control, including document tracking and processing, database, budget and records management; maintains position control as it integrates with budget, personnel and payroll systems; researches, reviews and analyzes complex and technical budget and position control data and records; compiles various reports as requested by an administrator and for submission to County, State, and Federal agencies. This job reports to Executive Director, Fiscal Services

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIECE REQUIRED: A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and five years of responsible and progressive experience working in budgeting and accounting. Experience in a school district or local educational agency. CERTIFICATIONS AND TESTING REQUIRED: 1. After an offer of employment, obtain: a. Criminal Justice and FBI Fingerprint Clearance at the candidate’s expense b. Negative pre-employment drug screen test through the District’s provider at the District’s expense c. Pre-employment physical exam through the District’s provider at the District’s expense d. Negative TB test result at candidate’s expense plus periodic post-employment retest (currently every four years) as required through the District’s provider at the District’s expense e. Must complete any mandatory training assigned by the District that is generally applicable to all classified employees or employees in this classification in particular TENTATIVE RECRUITMENT TIMELINE: Interview date: TBD
