Requirements / Qualifications
Early Childhood Special Education Credential English Language Authorization, (CLAD or SDAIE) Please attach a detailed version of your teaching credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website and your English Learner Authorization. **If you don't have an Early Childhood Special Education Credential, you may still be eligible to apply if you meet one of the following criteria: • You have a current Education Specialist credential and are willing to be placed on a Special Education Limited Assignment Permit while you complete the necessary units for the added authorization. • You have a bachelor's degree and 9 semester units of special education. Alternatively, you meet Subject Matter Competence for Multiple Subject (passed the CSET Multiple Subjects exam, hold a liberal studies degree), are willing to be placed on a Short-Term Staff Permit and enroll in an Early Childhood Special Education Intern Credential Program. *For further clarification regarding credentialing requirements please email kpark@murrieta.k12.ca.us or sramos@murrieta.k12.ca.us If you are intern-eligible in Early Childhood Special Education, please include your Intern Eligibility Letter issued by your approved CTC-accredited program.
