Job Summary

Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist supports various HR functions with a focus on benefits administration, performance management, talent acquisition, compliance, leave and accommodation management, and general HR operations. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant HR processes, contributing to a positive employee experience and organizational effectiveness. While the HR Specialist will support the department in a variety of aspects, they will be assigned to primarily support one of the three main areas identified below. All employees are expected to follow the responsibilities and procedures as delineated in the Employee Handbook. For this position, we are specifically looking for someone to take on the following duties and responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Compliance - Monitor requisition requests and approvals. - Assist hiring managers with internal and external job postings. - Review and evaluate resumes to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and fit the role’s requirements. - Screen applications and shortlist candidates for initial interviews. - Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, team members, and candidates; ensuring smooth scheduling and communication with candidates. - Facilitate the onboarding process for all new hires, including preparing and collecting necessary documentation, extending job offers, and fostering a smooth integration into the School. - Initiate offer letters and contracts, ensuring clarity in terms of conditions of employment. - Conduct AB2534 compliance checks for incoming candidates, ensuring timely communication and documentation. - Coordinate with the HR team and supporting departments to ensure new employees have a positive first experience at the School. - Assign Vector Compliance Training and monitor outstanding courses. - Monitor TB renewals; send notifications and follow up with employees as needed in order to maintain compliance with stat
