Job Summary

Job Summary

Under direction of the ASES District Coordinator, provides high-quality after school and extended day opportunities to students. This position will assist Instructional Support - ASES staff by co-designing, establishing, and reviewing site level programs, CQI plans and assist with training paraprofessionals who work as the frontline staff with our students. Work closely with school day faculty designees and administration, to provide well-rounded academic support and enrichment programs to various school sites. Lead and collaborate with Instructional Support-ASES staff and deliver professional development trainings in support of the ASES expanded learning requirements during after school hours.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION: Education, Training and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. AA Degree and working towards a BA Degree in education or related field is preferred. This is a classified position subject to the federal No Child Left Behind Act A minimum of two years of experience coordinating programs for youth Any other combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this classification require the use of a personal automobile and possession of a valid California Class C Driver's license. Incumbents must obtain a valid First Aid and CPR certificate within the designated probationary period for this classification within the first 30 days of employment. Incumbents will be provided non-violent crisis intervention paid training within one year of employment in this classification.
