We are hiring and looking for dedicated, equity-focused, driven educators. 153rd Street Elementary School uses the Listening and Spoken Language Approach. The LSL approach enables deaf and hard of hearing children to develop language skills and learn spoken language through listening. Children with hearing loss can learn spoken language with the use of appropriate hearing technologies, and are taught to listen through specific LSL strategies and techniques.
