
Part-Time Nursing Assistant Instructor - Tulare Western at Tulare Joint Union High School District
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Must have one year experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care facility and one year experience planning, implementing, and evaluation of educational programs in nursing; OR 2. Two years of full-time experience as a licensed nurse, one of which must be in the provision of direct care in a long term care facility. Within six months of employment and prior to teaching a certification program, the instructor must obtain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education courses in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs in nursing. 3. Hold and place on file a copy of a valid and updated CPR, California LVN or RN license. 4. Hold a valid California drivers license with proof of insurance. 5. Hold a Designated Subject Teaching Credential in Nursing Services or possess the qualifications necessary to obtain a Designated Subject Teaching Credential in Nursing Services.
