THE POSITION
The Business, Facilities & Operations Division is now accepting applications for Special Education Financial Analyst. Administers, coordinates, and plans the development, allocation, and reporting of complex financial results and activities for the Special Education program; advises, coordinates and serves as expert resource on special education financial and business related matters; prepares, reviews and distributes a wide variety of financial reports including quarterly fund balance analyses, reimbursement reports to various finance and school district administrators; and perform all other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Special Education program at the County Office of Education level, with a strong background in managing federal and state funding. They will bring proven skills in supervising and coaching staff, along with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This position is full-time, in-person and has a work year of 12 months, 261 days, 8 hrs. per day. Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master’s degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provided official documentation is submitted. - Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for October 21, 2025.
- Second interviews may be held in-person.
