Join the dynamic and culturally rich community at Oakland School for the Arts (OSA), a distinguished charter school located in the heart of an urban environment. OSA serves approximately 800 students in grades 6-12, fostering both artistic expression and academic excellence through an innovative approach that integrates rigorous academics with twelve arts disciplines. Founded in 2014, Step It Up aims to make OSA and arts education more accessible to underserved and marginalized youth in Oakland. The Step It Up program provides free and accessible arts education to underserved and marginalized BIPOC Oakland youth through after-school programs, on-site specialized arts classes, and career preparation grounded in industry knowledge. We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate instructors for the 2025-26 Step It Up program.
