Job Summary

Natomas Unified School District is seeking an Administrative Secretary - Confidential to support Constituent and Customer Services (CCS). This position performs a variety of complex and confidential assignments that support the CCS Department and the Superintendent’s Office to address parent and constituent concerns and responds to requests for information. This position is highly visible and requires discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with District staff, the Board of Trustees, parents, and the community.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education And Experience: High School diploma or equivalent supplemented by course work in secretarial science or a related business field desired. Minimum of five (5) years of varied secretarial and clerical or office management experience, with three (3) years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, including at least one year of secretarial experience in a school district, preferred. Pre-employment Clearances/Requirements: • Valid Driver’s License • TB Test Clearance • Fingerprint Clearance

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (three recent letters)
  • Resume
  • Typing Certificate ((Issued within the last two years for about 60 wpm. Must include the name, address, and phone number of the issuing agency along with the net wpm and length of test (3-minute minimum). Typing certificates from web-based programs are not accepted).)
