Job Summary
Under the supervision and direction of the Director, Student Services, and/or designee, provides instructional activities to eligible migrant preschool children; to promote the development of cognitive social emotional and motor skills; to assist in providing parent education and promoting parent involvement; if designated as bilingual, to utilize bilingual skills to facilitate classroom instruction; utilizes appropriate supplies, material and equipment for the program; maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about children and parents; and participates in professional development activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching credential or possession of a valid Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the State of California Commission on Teaching Credentialing. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Valid California Driver’s License Fingerprint and TB clearance
