GENERAL SUMMARY: Certificated teachers and/or Classified will provide academic support for Speech and Debate activities. The purpose of the Speech and Debate classes is to create opportunities for students to participate in an after school activity with coaching support that prepares students to compete in a regional and state speech and debate tournament. Groups of students will be recruited at the middle school and high school level and will participate in the speech and debate preparation program outside of the regular school day which may include meetings during the noon hour and time after school.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Teaching Credential Valid California driver’s license
